OUR PRINCIPLES AND VALUES

Healing the World Community is a Klein (Spring, Texas). It is an informal discussion group  that talks about philosophies from various sources, and encourages connectivity and love among all people. We utilize a teleconference platform to enable us to have a global reach. Our primary means of expressing these principles is through interaction, discussion, education, music, and fellowship.

OUR DOCTRINES ARE:

• Acceptance of one another.
• A free and responsible search for liberation.
• Pure and permanent peace around the world.
• The inherent worth and dignity of every person.
• Justice, equality, and compassion for all people.
• Understanding that forces exist that we do not yet understand.
• Spiritual freedom is a spontaneous, emancipatory consciousness.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

“HEALING THE WORLD COMMUNITY” endeavors to learn from one another how to live together in love and peace. To achieve these difficult goals, we utilize interaction, discussion, education, music, and fellowship.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT OUR MEETINGS

We are a different kind of community. These days, discussions with others who hold different opinions can be challenging. So we call our meetings "festivities" as we celebrate love, peace, and most importantly, each other! Our goal is to learn from one another and know that through conversation, we will find shared values and, optimistically, new friends! Most meetings will include live music, a short presentation, a period of meditation, and, time permitting, a group discussion on the day's topic. Occasionally, we will have guest speakers or speakers from our community. We will strive to make your experience something you will enjoy repeating every week. You will meet new people, get to know them, discuss common values, explore differences, and hopefully make some lifelong friends. Our goal in "Healing the World Community" begins with understanding, respect, and listening to one another to gain a full understanding.
